Niki Kaiser joined the KRIRM staff in October 2016 as the Administrative Coordinator. She was born and raised in Harlingen, TX, where she developed a passion for education and agriculture at a young age.  Niki received a Bachelor of Science from Texas A&M University-Kingsville in 2009 and a Master of Science degree in Plant & Soil Science (2015), also from TAMUK.  Prior to joining the Institute, Niki was the 4-H Youth Development Agent with Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service in Kleberg & Kenedy counties.  She spent four years managing all aspects of the 4-H program and teaching youth about agriculture, gardening, food & nutrition and leadership development.

Niki’s main roles include office management and event coordination of the institute’s outreach efforts. She enjoys continual learning, the ability to expand her professional skillset, and be an effective member of the KRIRM team. Niki and her husband, Robert, have two children, Cuatro and Elliette, who make their life the grandest adventure.
