    Presentations will be simultaneously delivered in-person and online via a Zoom Webinar.

    Having the right tools and correctly handling important decisions is critical to managing a cow-calf business. Managerial decisions that involve number gathering and crunching can be overwhelming. This lectureship provides fundamental skills used by successful ranch managers. You will learn by working through scenarios that include budgeting, determining stocking rate, and marketing calves to managing labor, depreciation, and purchased feed cost. The workshop concludes with a look at sorting good business opportunities from potentially bad deals. Let us help you make sense of the most important managerial decisions in the cow-calf business.
