Since 2003, the King Ranch® Institute for Ranch Management has built a reputation of serving the ranching industry through educating the next generation of ranch managers. We are the premier program in the world that offers a Master of Science in Ranch Management, providing the most progressive, diverse, and well-rounded education to our ranch management graduate students. Our students are trained to manage complex ranching operations that play an integral part in feeding the world’s population and sustaining natural resources. The Institute has experienced tremendous growth since 2003, adding lectureships and symposia for ranching stakeholders to promote continuing education, and a research component to help ranch owners, managers, and natural resource stewards benefit from innovative and practical solutions to challenges facing the ranching industry.

As a nonprofit entity, we rely on the financial support of private donors and grants to fulfill our mission. As we continue to grow and discover innovative avenues to strengthen our reach, we have established a continuing annual stream of funding that will support ranch management graduate student education, stakeholder outreach, and applied research programs on a much broader scale.
