Position Title: Wildlife Manager
Name of Ranch/Business: Underwood Ranch
Location: Sealy, Texas
Position Description: Underwood Ranch is seeking an experienced, full-time Wildlife Manager to manage the development of our whitetail and exotic herd, maintain and advance our successful dove range habitat, and further instill the enjoyment and hospitality of our guests. This position reports directly to the Ranch Manager and Ranch President.
Qualifications: The candidate should have experience in and be proficient at:
- Range and wildlife management for Dove, Quail, Whitetail and Exotics;Deer pen management experience.
- Deer breeding program experience.
- Outdoor work requiring physical strength and stamina.
- Must be organized and efficient with good communication skills (both verbal and written).
- Organize any activities for family/guests with a concentration in hospitality.
- Manage third-party contractors and project budgets from initial concept to completion.
- Manage vendor relationships for supplies.
- Operate, maintain, and repair farm/ranch equipment.
- Maintain operational and maintenance records.
- Water well knowledge and experience.
- Heavy equipment operator a plus.
- Computer skills including email, scan, fax, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point.
