Position Title: Ranch Manager
Name of Ranch/Business: Western Colorado Ranch
Location: Eagle Vail, Colorado
Position Description: Ranch manager for a 10,000-acre shared mountain ranch in central Colorado with 12 owners. This person will report to the Executive Director. The ranch currently has 10-15 full/part-time employees.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience managing ranch staff
- Ability to lead with integrity & professionalism
- Ability to work and communicate confidentially and professionally
- Previous experience working/managing a mountain ranch
- Office skills e.g. excel, management/ranch reporting, email
- Some college preferred
Responsibilities: Overall management of daily operations, personnel & fiscal functions, including but not limited to:
- Range Management -Grazing/Haying/Weed Control
- Maintenance – Road/Infrastructure/Building/Fencing
- Recreational – Snowmobiling/Hunting/Fishing/Equestrian
- Wildlife – Biology/Game management
- Estimated 80% ranch management and 20% hospitality management
Salary: $90,000-$100,000 and housing for the right candidate
