Location: Oshkosh, Nebraska
Position Description:
Assist in managing an 84,000 acre bison ranch in the sandhills of Nebraska. The ranch runs 1,200 breeding bison females and 1,500 head of stock bulls and heifers. The ranch also operates a 3,000 bison feeding operation.
Qualifications:
- Grazing planning and management.
- Livestock handling skills.
- Leadership experience.
- Knowledge of electric fencing systems.
- 4 year degree or more.
Responsibilities:
- Overseeing all grazing planning and record keeping.
- Help with regenerative farming and rangeland planning.
- Execute all pasture moves.
- Oversee maintenance of all infrastructure.
- Help oversee and manage feedlot.
- Assist in budgeting and oversight.
Estimated Salary: $50,000 + –
