Position Title: Ranch Manager

Position Description/Responsibilities:
Become a family member and manage one of the nicest south Texas ranches around. This 1,200 acre ranch has two 25 plus acre lakes, 2.5 miles of Aransas river, four houses, necessary ranch equipment, and light cattle. This is a family ranch used primarily for recreation. We need a conservative and pride ourselves on a family environment. We are looking for a husband wife team to keep our home a home! We have a two-minute video of the ranch to see what it is like. with that Participate with owner and co-workers to run an intensely managed whitetail deer hunting and deer breeding operation. The ranch is located between Woodsboro, Texas and Sinton, Texas.

Qualifications:
- Prior land, garden, tree care, and irrigation system experience
- Computer literacy
- Excellent communication skills and fluency in English
- Competence in basic carpentry, plumbing, electrical and operating, maintaining, and repairing farm equipment
- Understanding of maintenance of animal pens
- Must pass a full background check and have a clean driving record
- Must be in good physical health to accomplish job responsibilities.
Responsibilities:
Duties Including Bu Not Limited To
- Care for land, fence repair, seasonal shredding, road maintenance, check/repair ranch water system, filling feeders, ranch property maintenance and vehicle maintenance
- Light cooking sometimes
- Help start an exotic deer program for recreational hunting.
- Maintain and clean all household and facilities at hotel quality standards
- Hire and supervise outside labor and vendors
- Organize and maintain tools, equipment, barns, facility items
- Perform basic security and surveillance
- All landscaping and irrigation systems
- Minimum three years’ experience monitoring ranch deer, help guide hunters, cleaning animals during hunting season
- Take care of 70+ head of cattle and wean calves
- Assist with work on various other properties, construction projects
- Work tractor, shredder, skid steer, and other ranch equipment
- There will be holiday work and weekend work
Estimated Salary: Base of $48,000 plus $25,000 to $30,000 in benefits
