Position Title: Ranch Manager

KVR is committed to provide a sustainable gaming experience that connects nature, conservation, and outdoor recreation.
Keith Valley Ranch is in Cherokee, Texas, and is owned by Ben E. Keith Company. KVR has been in existence since 1992. It is primarily a game ranch, which is used as a customer engagement tool. The ranch will also host the owners and employees for business meetings and corporate retreats.
The ranch is completely high fenced and is approx. 2,800 acres in size and is currently enrolled in Texas Parks and Wildlife Managed Lands Deer Program. (MLDP)
Responsibilities:
- Guest Engagement
- Manager is expected to greet and host guests/customers.
- Weekend work required.
- Ranch Safety
- Establish safety protocols and guidelines for hunting and all other activities.
- Insure KVR maintains a “culture of safety.”
- Provide guests with game harvest rules.
- Game Management
- Establish comprehensive game management program.
- Equipment Maintenance
- Fencing and Road Maintenance
- Minor Construction
- Perform or manage construction projects on property.
- Vendor Management
- Mange outside suppliers, (trash removal, plumbers, electrician etc.)
- Facilities Management
- Ensure all structures are in proper working order.
- Water and Well Maintenance
- Employee Management
- KVR has an employee on staff and housekeeper/handy man.
Code of Conduct:
- Manage all spending appropriately and with management consent for significant purchases.
- No Consumption of alcohol while on the job
- No Insubordination to others
- No Drug use.
- No Dangerous use of weapons
- No Minors consuming alcohol or drugs on premise
- Adherence to BEK employee handbook
Estimated Salary:
- Annual Salary of $80,000.00
