Molly McAdams, PhD, firmly believes stewarding livestock, wildlife, and open spaces is a gift to the future we will never see. Molly brings this passion to her role as executive vice president of Texas Beef Council (TBC), where she oversees Beef Checkoff-funded efforts.

Growing up the daughter of a veterinarian, Molly developed a profound respect for the land and animals that inhabit it. But it was during her very first meat science class while pursuing bachelor’s and master’s degrees at the University of Florida that beef quickly became her personal protein of choice. Following a doctorate in agriculture from Texas Tech University, Molly spent nearly 13 years with H-E-B before co-founding Om3, where she helped mid-sized meat producers grow their businesses.

She brings this unique blend of skills and passion to TBC every day, ensuring marketing programs are innovative and responsive to consumer demands while tirelessly championing the industry that shaped her. She lives with her husband, Jim, and their son, John Kohl, at their family’s place near New Berlin.
