Miles Theurer, DVM, PhD grew up on a family farm and cow-calf operation in south-central Kansas. He did a dual DVM/PhD program at Kansas State University. His PhD was in Epidemiology focusing on experimental design and statistical analysis. Currently he is the Research Director for Veterinary Research and Consulting Services and evaluates data for the consulting group and their clients. Miles works directly with pharmaceutical companies, feedyard managers, and consultants to develop and execute research projects to improve the health and efficiency of cattle in the feedyard. Miles currently lives in Montezuma, Kansas and is primarily based out of Hy-Plains Feedyard conducting research projects.
