Megan Slater is the executive director of the American Gelbvieh Association (AGA) located in Lincoln, Nebraska. In her role at the association, Megan is responsible for overseeing the AGA office and works closely with the board of directors to successfully guide the association into the future.
Megan attended Colorado State University (CSU) where she obtained a bachelor’s degree in animal science and a minor in business administration. She was a member of the CSU Seedstock Merchandising Team and helped promote CSU cattle genetics and oversaw all aspects of the CSU Annual Bull Sale. Upon graduation, Megan began with the AGA as the Gelbvieh Media Productions intern and has held several different roles within the association since.
Megan grew up along the Front Range of Colorado and enjoys traveling and spending time with her friends and family.
