Kord Killpack was raised in Southeast Idaho where he and his dad day worked for several local ranches. Here he was able to develop the necessary skills to be a successful cowboy. This is also where he developed his strong work ethic and passion for the ranching industry.
After graduating high school, he went on to serve a two-year mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in San Antonio, Texas. During the two years, his strong work ethic was reinforced and his leadership skills where further developed. He also developed a love for teaching and helping others.
In 2017, he graduated from Brigham Young University-Idaho with a bachelor’s degree in Agriculture Business with a minor in Beef Production. Throughout college he worked hard to expand his knowledge by working for several different ranching and feedlot operations. This helped to diversify his skill set. This is also when he met and married his wife, Destiny, who shares the same love and passion for ranching as he does.
After graduation he was offered a job on the Rex Ranch in the panhandle of Nebraska. He took care of several classes of cattle and manages an intensive grazing rotation. On the ranch, he has developed a love for stockmanship and cattle handling.
Attending KRIRM has been a life-long dream of his. He is excited to continue his education and increase his value to the ranching community.
