Jena McRell is an editor and digital associate for Grant Company LLC in Saint Joseph, Missouri. Centered on authentic storytelling, the team of communications professionals produces quality content for clients across North America.
Jena grew up on a small farm in southwest Missouri where her family raised Registered Angus cattle. Through the local 4-H program, she developed a passion for both livestock and creative communications, which led her to the University of Missouri to pursue a degree in agricultural journalism.
Before joining Grant Company in 2017, Jena was digital editor for the American Angus Association, overseeing the construction of the cattle industry’s largest social media presence, rebuilding of angus.org, and contributing to the weekly broadcast news program The Angus Report.
She says there’s no better day than one spent on a farm or ranch — documenting a producer’s commitment to the land, their family and community.
Jena and her husband, Matthew, live on a small acreage in northeast Kansas.
