Position Title: Feedlot Manager

Location: Los Lunas, New Mexico
Position Description and Qualifications: Located in Central New Mexico, 4 Daughters Land and Cattle is an integrated farming and ranching operation, looking for a Feedlot Manager to oversee all daily operations of its 2,500 head capacity feedlot. Ideal candidate must be knowledgeable in all aspects of cattle feeding to harvest. The position requires a hands on individual with the ability to lead and work alongside employees (individual will oversee 2 full time employees), to perform all daily tasks including feeding, milling, truck scheduling for cattle and commodities, animal health, and yard maintenance. The individual that best suits this position will be a team player who is self-motivated, detail oriented, and have strong organizational skills. Must be able to effectively communicate and coordinate with farm and ranch divisions as well as consulting veterinarian and nutritionist.

- Record keeping and reporting through feed yard management software. Training available for specific software.
- Managing commodity inventories, to include usage, receipts, shipments and trucking.
- Manage medicine inventories for feedlot and ranch divisions.
- Implement animal health and implant protocols.
- Implement synchronization protocols for A.I.
- Marketing of finished cattle.
Estimated Salary: Commensurate with experience.
