Alethea Prewett grew up on a commercial cow-calf operation outside of Hollister California. Growing up she was involved extensively in 4-H and FFA, showing cattle and sheep. After high school, she attended Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, and graduated with a degree in Agriculture Communications. This led her career to kickstart at the National Cattlemen’s Beef Association (NCBA) on the Issues and Reputation Management Team.
After almost two years Alethea moved to Boise, ID for a Corporate Marketing position with Agri Beef, a vertically integrated business with operations in every sector of the industry, from pasture to plate. Alethea spent four years with Agri Beef and now works for Twenty Four-Seven Livestock assisting with their cattle and horse operations. With her most recent move back to California, she is also able to focus more on her own cow herd, and help the family with their operations.
