Invest in Lifelong Learning – Improving Yourself and Your Ranch Employees

Our approach to rancher education provides multiple opportunities each year for hands-on, applied learning that covers current and dynamic topics in the ranch management industry. Through these educational events, we empower ranch owners, employees, university faculty and students, and industry stakeholders with skills that will help them strategically manage complex ranching operations and successfully lead our industry. Lectureship Courses are offered online and in-person in Kingsville, Texas.

The annual HOLT CAT® Symposium on Excellence in Ranch Management, is held the first Thursday/Friday of November as the highlight event of the year. The symposium features in-depth seminars and training on timely and important issues facing the ranching industry. Past topics have included horse program success on working ranches, succession planning, business management of hunting enterprises, practical stockmanship in ranching, and more.
