Following graduation, she began pursuing a Master of Science degree in Plant & Soil Science (2015), also from Texas A&M University-Kingsville. She spent the next four years managing all aspects of the 4-H program and teaching youth about agriculture, gardening, food & nutrition and leadership development.
Niki and her husband, Robert, met in college and were married in 2011. They have one son, Cuatro, who keeps them on their toes and ready for the next big adventure. Niki enjoys reading, traveling and fishing with her family.
Niki is excited to continue learning, expand her professional skills, and be an effective member of the KRIRM team.
