JoAnne Meeker is a fine art photographer who is photographing today's "Old West". Trained as a painter, she photographs with the eye of an artist. In the last seven years she has developed a unique style that has gained popularity across the United States, Canada and European Countries abroad. Tom Urban became interested in photography while enrolled at Texas A&M University. His experience as the 25-year lease manager for the Venada Camp on King Ranch combined with his skill as a naturalist has allowed him the opportunity to photograph the diverse wildlife of the region. His book, Wildlife of the King Ranch was published in commemoration of the 150th Anniversary of King Ranch in 2003. Tom has graciously allowed the King Ranch Institute for Ranch Management to use his beautiful photographs for our website and gift cards.
