Summary: 

With specialized instructors and the largest outdoor laboratory in the world, Texas A&M University-Kingsville is a fantastic place to refresh your horse knowledge.  During this five-day lectureship, the instructors will take an intensive lecture of scientific basis and apply it to the horse care that is applicable and relevant for your everyday needs.  This lectureship is presented by board certified experts, practicing verterinarians and professionals in all different desciplines of equine medicine.

Learning Objectives: 

• Introduce issues related to reproduction, infertility, colic, obesity and nutrition.
• Present information on parasite control, vaccinations, elderly horses and viral diseases of horses.
• Discuss insurance concerns, emergency care and laminitis.
