Certificate Program

The Texas Farm Credit Certificate in Advanced Ranch Management, established in 2008, prepares ranchers and landowners to deal with complex issues in today’s ever-changing ranching industry. It is designed for working professionals who wish to continue their education through symposia, lectureships, and workshops.

The goal of the KRIRM endowed lectureship series is to keep the curriculum of the institute current and dynamic. These lectureships are designed for anyone directly or indirectly involved in the ranching industry.  Our goal is to enhance the environment of the ranching industry by educating not only ranch managers, but educators; ag loan officers; accountants; local, state and federal agency employees such as NRCS and BLM; landowners; extension educators and consultants. The concepts covered in our lectureships range from hands-on field training in topics such as prescribed burning, grazing and equine management, and the more technical and business operations of ranches like human resource management and management of mineral rights.

The Texas Farm Credit Certificate in Advanced Ranch Management is an excellent way to earn Continuing Education Units (CEU’s). Texas A&M University-Kingsville is accredited by SACS requirements. If you are part of a professional organization, please notify your organization prior to your attendance to ensure proper credit will be received.

All lectureships are held on the campus of Texas A&M University-Kingsville. A complete list of the lectureships and event schedule can be found here.
