Summary:

This lectureship helps ranchers understand and successfully navigate the laws and regulations that impact ranchers on a daily basis.


Learning Objectives:

• Basic concepts of contracts and agreements, the responsibilites of all parties and the possible repercussions of a breach of contact.
• Understanding liability at the ranch and personal level.
• Personal property rights and responsiblities.
• Uniform commercial code as adopted in Texas and other states.
• Business organization formulation and dissolution.
• Estate planning with wills and trusts.
